You do not need to code. You need one real task and thirty quiet minutes.

Minutes 0-10: pick the right first task

Choose something you do weekly that has a clear "done": summarizing a document, drafting a reply, organizing notes. Avoid anything irreversible for now.

Minutes 10-20: set the rules

Tell the agent three things:

• The goal in one sentence.
• What it may do (read this folder, draft a reply).
• What it must never do (send anything without showing you first).

Minutes 20-30: run it and watch

Let it work and read each step. When it does something odd, your instructions were probably unclear — not the AI being "dumb." Adjust one sentence and run again.
